I am the principal and founder of the Law Office of Erica Diaz Bechtold. Having practiced corporate and real estate law for 8 years, certain life milestones led me to a slightly different path. Over time I purchased a home, started a family, and endured the loss of a loved one. Having my estate plan in place gave me peace of mind in knowing that my family would be provided for, my business and personal assets protected, and my wishes would be followed during my lifetime and after. I started my practice because I want to help individuals, couples, families, and business owners achieve that same peace of mind by developing and implementing creative and effective plans tailored to their specific needs.
As part of the estate planning process, I meet with clients to discuss their planning goals, and, together, we develop an effective strategy to meet them. I am there for clients every step of the way and am always available to discuss their concerns and make adjustments to their plan when life changes require it. My goal is to make the process accessible, efficient, and as streamlined as possible so that clients are motivated to develop and complete their plan. I strive to ensure that their wishes are met and their loved ones do not have to deal with the fallout from lack of planning.
I received my undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach, in 2003 and my juris doctorate from Chapman University School of Law in 2008. I was admitted to the California Bar in 2008, and I served on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County from 2010 – 2015.
